There are many volunteer opportunities for IHM parents to get involved. Both the school and Home and School Association coordinate volunteers for the many activities that occur throughout the school year.

Home and School Association Sponsored Activities

Teacher Support Services

Provides programs and events that support our IHM teachers and staff. Some of the activities that this committee organizes are:

• Faculty/Staff Back-to-School Luncheon (summer)
• Teacher Treats (year round)
• Faculty/Staff Holiday Social (January)
• Teacher Appreciation Week (February-March)
• Thursday Folders (one hour or less per week- year round)
• Homeroom Parents (assist teacher with events- year round)
• Cafeteria volunteers
• Music Room and Computer lab volunteers (year round)

Spiritual Life

Sponsor events that enhance the spiritual life of our IHM community. Some of the volunteer opportunities are:

• IHM Parent Prayer Group
• Spiritual Hands: helps IHM family in need of assistance and to increase the prayers for the school community (births, illnesses, etc.)
• Blessed Mary’s Birthday 
• Military Care Package Projects (year round)
