The school values the importance of communications. Our new website is only one of many ways that Immaculate Heart of Mary School keeps in touch with its community members. Additional communications are made using our bi-weekly e-newsletter, special events, access to Edline, and parent-teacher conferences.
The administration, along with the Home and School Association, distributes a bi-weekly online newsletter to parents, staff, and other interested members of the IHM family. The online newsletter called our “e-Family” contains a brief summary of the events happening around IHM School. Contact the office if you are not receiving it, or if you would like to submit information. Our mailing list is private.
The school frequently organizes special events such as Curriculum Night, Parent Appreciation Night, Administrative Coffees for New Families, and other special gatherings as learning and fellowship opportunities. We hope for you to be informed about these events and join us.
You may access Edline for more academic information. This is a password protected area of our website only available to parents, guardians, students, and staff. Edline holds the student grades, assigned homework, teachers’ pages, level specific newsletters and other useful links and forms. Inclement Weather Notifications
Parents are reminded that attempting to check out students during tornado warning situations compromises the school's ability to protect all of our students. If a student must be checked out early from school, please wait until after any storm warnings have been canceled.
We hope to satisfy your communications needs. We are working hard towards that goal, as we realize good communications are essential for the wellbeing of any big family. |

Parent-Teacher Conferences are held in the Fall of each year for all students, and in the Winter for middle school students. The report cards are distributed to the parents prior to all conferences. Teachers are encouraged to frequently inform parents about the student’s academic progress and behavior.
