IHM School has the opportunity to build moral leadership within the classroom, in the parish, in the community and beyond by weaving the mission of the school into every aspect of the school program. The values of faith, knowledge, service and integrity are guiding principles that light the way and reflect the community that is known as IHM.
The following summarizes the key goals and objectives for each of the strategic planning committees. Our community shares in this work to promote maximum growth of the individual in a Christ-centered setting.

Goal
1. Continue to strengthen the Catholic learning environment to reinforce Gospel values and achieve academic excellence.

Strategies
- Offer opportunities and resources to support parents as the primary Christian educators of their children.
- Increase participation of parents and families in volunteer efforts.
- Cultivate an environment that encourages the students to achieve and take pride in academic excellence.
- Develop a plan to increase student knowledge in areas as determined by academic and faith based standardized tests.
- Work together to implement and maintain a consistent, structured approach to teaching language arts.
- Continue to improve math computation skills in all grade levels.
- Utilize school wide discipline goal to promote an environment conducive to academic excellence

2. Create a development and communications program that further promotes the IHM community and its school mission while keeping tuition favorable for Catholic families

- Promote the school as a ministry of the parish and unify the mission of the parish and school.
- Formulate a plan for targeting local businesses to create partnerships with IHM School.
- Expand development efforts in the areas of alumni support and grant programs.
- Utilize technological resources for continued improvement in development and communications.

3. Ensure technology and the physical plant supports optimal learning

Strategies
- Provide teacher training to keep current with the latest technology to enhance classroom instruction.
- Update and fund the technology replacement plan.
- Prioritize the continued maintenance and improvement of physical plant.
