History
Over the years, IHM has evolved from one that served only Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, into one that serves over
thirty parishes. Located in
Atlanta, Central DeKalb County, IHM draws students from many corners of the surrounding Atlanta metropolitan area, serving children with a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
To address the ever-increasing demand in the area for exceptional Catholic education, a new building was erected on the IHM parish grounds in 1969, which included additional classrooms, a library and a gym.
The kindergarten program was introduced that same year.

Band, Chorus, Student Council, Drama, Art Club, Community Service Opportunities, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, Oratorical Contest, Chess Club, Basketball and Scouts. |

7:45 a.m. - School Opens
8:00 a.m. - First Bell Rings
8:10 a.m. - Children need to be in their homeroom
3:15 p.m. - Dismissal Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
2:00 p.m. - Dismissal every Wednesday of the month
