Take a virtual tour of the IHM campus.

For the past 29 years, IHM parents, students, teachers, and friends have enthusiastically joined our Birthday Book Program sponsored by the Library Media Center.

This program provides you with an opportunity to donate books to the Library in celebration of your child’s, your spouse’s, or a teacher or friend’s birthday.  Our library is enhanced by a lasting birthday remembrance.  So that books donated will complement what we already have and not be duplicates, a variety of books which the school needs or which students and teachers have requested are available through the library.  These books will be on display and available for purchase on Orientation Day, Back-to-School Night, and throughout the school year.  The Library uses the proceeds from the Birthday Book Program to purchase additional books and other materials for the Library Media Center.

A nameplate is placed in the “Birthday Book” with the individual’s name and birth date, and a small remembrance is given to the honoree.  Students in kindergarten through 5th will receive their birthday books at the Morning Assembly closest to their birthday, while students in Middle School will receive their birthday books at the Eagle Pride Assemblies. Please note that summer birthdays may be celebrated anytime during the school year.

Children are delighted to donate a birthday book, which carries their name.  In turn, they recommend it to their friends with enthusiasm.  Is this not a pleasure worth sharing?

Receipts are available upon request and participation in this program is strictly voluntary.
